6 Fischel bistro chairs with labels, circa 1930

Set of 6 superb bistro chairs in varnished beech with drawings on the seat (see photos) of the famous fischel brand. Fischel company created in 1871 in prague by david gabriel fischel, then taken over by his eldest son who worked at thonet and who developed the factory of thermoformed turned wood furniture in czechoslovakia, then in france. These are made of solid beech, with original finishes, the so-called "gendarme hat" folder with 3 vertical bars, with labels or traces of fischel labels. They come from an old auvergne bistro. Condition: they served of course, but remain in an exceptional state with, a beautiful old patina some traces of uses, and small minimal shocks. ( see photos ) they have of course been treated against xylophagi, cleaned and revised. Timeless, rare in this state, icon of the bistros of yesteryear, these chairs will give a vintage bistro side in your interior, shop or restaurants. Size: height 87 cm. Seated height 46 cm.
