Set of 6 chairs type 1840 bistro chair medallion back inspired by thonet in curved wood upholstered back. Bistro chair type 1840 in solid curved beech wood and medallion back. A classic & legendary bistro chair, comfort in addition. This chair is a tribute to the classic thonet chairs, produced using the technology of bending beech wood under the influence of steam and pressure. Classics, forever. This chair type 1840 version medallion back is an iconic motif in the history of art, Weight & dimensions: 3.1 kg, 42 cm wide X 88 cm high X 53 cm deep, seat height 46 cm. The chairs are in very good condition, the velvet and the structures are clean. One chair has the velvet marked on the back of the medallion and 2 chairs have the wood slightly "flaked" which does not interfere with use at all (see photos).
