KAISER vase in biscuit porcelain with botanical relief, 1960s

Biscuit porcelain vase produced by KAISER in West Germany around the 1960s. Its compact shape is animated by a botanical decoration sculpted in high relief, entirely treated in the monochrome white of the porcelain. The exterior surface, left matte and unglazed, accentuates the modelling of the decoration and the play of shadow and light characteristic of biscuit. The interior is fully glazed, allowing the vase to retain its original function and accommodate floral arrangements. The combination of matte white porcelain, organic relief, and sculptural form naturally places it within Mid-Century German design. The piece bears the KAISER factory mark with a blue crown under the base, as well as a stamped shape number. The precise name of the model and its designer are not established. West Germany, around the 1960s. Biscuit porcelain on the outside, glazed interior. Dimensions: approx. H 15 × W 12 (diameter of the opening) × D 8 cm (diameter of the base) Weight: approx. 377 g. Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs reported. Light signs of handling consistent with age and minor micro-scratches on the edge of the base. The factory mark and stamped number remain visible under the piece.
