Board of the diary of ladies and fashions 1827

Plank 14 of the rare sequel published by la mésangère, engraved by gatine after a composition by paul gavarni. La mésangère commissioned 100 drawings from the young gavarni for the journal des dames et des modes, but disappointed by some drawings, it was decided to have only 22 engraved by gatine and to publish them in a sequel between 1827 and 1830. These boards, which do not include gavarni's signature, are his first major publication.
