Bauhaus style armchairs, 1950s, polish design, kvadrat reupholstery, set of 2

Set of 2 armchairs from furniture factory “wschód” zadziele. They were produced in 1950s in eastern poland however the design is very much western-like and reminds of the best bauhaus designs of 20th century. Very light in form and comfortable in use. The armchairs are after complete renovation, the tubular base have been chromed, beech armrests finished with oil, and the whole seating reupholstered in beautiful boucle fabric from danish brand kvadrat, from kvadrat’s latest collection.
