Vintage artichoke plates in majolica

Superb set of 4 vintage Italian majolica plates, stamped “Made in Italy – Handpainted” on the reverse. Relief decoration featuring stylised foliage in graduated shades of green with central bowls glazed in amber yellow tones. A typical artisanal work from Italian productions of the 1950s-70s, with authentic and decorative charm. Diameter: 24 cm. Set of four plates. In very good overall condition: they show some slight natural signs of age and use, which are normal for their age, but no cracks or chips. The glaze retains a beautiful shine and the relief is perfectly preserved.
