1930 Shrager Brothers Furniture Dressing Table Chest

Exceptional and rare 1930 bedroom dressing table chest of drawers from the English manufacturer Shrager Brothers Furniture. A very beautiful piece in solid wood and varnished walnut veneer, very functional with its sliding drawers, its bottle holders on the sides, and its drawer with small mirror in its dressing table version. It can thus be used both as a dressing table, and offers very practical and useful storage spaces. The manufacturer Shrager based in London, very renowned for the quality of its creations, and inspired by fashionable styles like here on these art deco lines. The piece of furniture is stamped inside one of the bottle holders, and there is a label in the drawer of the mirror. A period piece of furniture in very good condition, showing traces of use and very light pitting on the period mirror as well. The large mirror is removable.
