Champagne flute in St Louis crystal, Tarn model. Tarn is a cut crystal model created by the St Louis glassworks in the 1960s. The Tarn range features pure lines, a hexagonal stem, a star-shaped base - a sign of belonging to a high-end series at Saint Louis - deep cut facets in bevelled diamonds, and glasses with an elegantly slightly tulip-shaped profile, giving them a beautiful balance, similar to the Cerdagne model, which is still marketed today. Each piece is signed, the model being post-1936, the year the glassworks began to engrave its acid-etched signature on its productions. Height: 19cm.
