Very beautiful high stool by Roberto Foschia for Midj. Original and period edition. Italy, 1970s. This is not a reissue. Cone-shaped base, in chrome metal. Rare model with translucent beige seat. Thick moulded ABS. Stamped by designer and manufacturer. Country of origin label still present. Excellent condition, Has a tiny stain, nothing significant, see photos. Height 88 cm. Width 38 cm. Depth 42 cm. Please contact us for any information. Fast and very careful shipping. Roberto Foschia: Born in Friuli in 1948, he still lives and works there. After obtaining an artistic baccalaureate in Udine, followed by a degree in design and furniture at the Magistero d'Arte in Trieste, he began his career as a designer at the research and design centre of Seleco-Zanussi in Pordenone. In 1986, he became an independent designer and opened a studio in Codroipo, specialising in interior architecture. He collaborates with many renowned companies on design projects: televisions, hi-fi systems, glasses, industrial photo developers, refrigerated display cases, furniture, chairs, showrooms, and public spaces. Foschia has been awarded in Germany for the design of a portable television and in Italy for a collection of complementary furniture elements in wire mesh.
