Beautiful pair of wrought iron fireplace andirons, featuring two stylised animals (horses) in a very decorative brutalist and primitive style. Purchased in Paris in the 1990s at Le Monde Sauvage, a Parisian shop specialising in characterful handcrafted objects. Lovely patina from use, in very good overall condition. Dimensions: 35 cm total length — flat part: 19 cm. Height: 18 cm at the highest point - flat part: 12 cm. Material: metal / hammered wrought iron. Careful shipping available.
