Asparagus plate(s) in slip and ironstone, Longchamp Pompa model

Asparagus plate(s) in slip and iron clay, pompadour model, made by the longchamp factory, at the end of the 19th century. Condition: very good condition (wear consistent with age) period: 1880 - 1900 manufacturer: french longchamp factory diameter: 26cm weight: 750g materials: _ plate: iron clay (fine earthenware mixed with feldspar and kaolin) _ relief decoration: slip (clay paste diluted in water) colors: mixture of shades of pink, green, yellow and blue, on a white background each soup plate is composed of 7 elongated asparagus spears, in relief, located in the middle of the plate. The hollow edge of the plate is decorated with flowers which frame and highlight the asparagus spears. The edge of the plate is scalloped and highlighted with a red border. Each plate includes a hollow printed marking on the back, attesting to its origin. The plate is thus numbered and stamped with the inscription "longchamp - terre de fer". Each piece is unique and handmade. It is perfect as a wall decoration, or placed on a dresser, or placed on a plate easel (see photos) the photos show the few rare scratches due to time it is possible to buy the plate individually or in pairs or threes.
