Antique chest bench, France, 19th century.

Magnificent carved wooden chest bench from the 19th century, high Renaissance period, Louis XIII. The upper part can be dismantled. The bench is flanked by lion head armrests and is abundantly carved over the entire surface. Light wear and patina consistent with age.
