White bookcase

This old 1-door cabinet, now a library or cabinet of curiosities, is made of solid pine and dates from the beginning/mid 20th century. Its classic gendarme hat style and its nicely decorated facade regain an attraction thanks to the “old-fashioned” patina of Venetian white/yellow aged in a country/shabby style. Renovated with natural casein paint according to the recipe of the old master furniture painters. This patina gives it a much sought-after aging effect. Protected by a thin layer of wax and an oil glaze. Its 4 shelves (replaced by 15mm MDF due to wear) and its interior are painted with grayish beige paint. A practical side and its shallow depth will allow it to find its place in any room in the house, even a bathroom. Unique piece. External dimensions: h195 cm x l95 cm x p43 cm.
