Art Deco buffet in carved wood and black marble, 1930s

Elegant Art Deco low sideboard, probably made in the 1930s, notable for its architectural lines and numerous sculpted details. Made of wood in warm tones, it features a beautiful façade rhythmically arranged with three doors and a large central drawer. The rounded corners, vertical fluting, and delicate sculpted floral motifs are particularly characteristic of the Art Deco aesthetic. The top is dressed with three veined black and white marble slabs, with the slightly raised central part beautifully highlighting the symmetrical composition of the piece. The metal handles and lock entries add an extra touch of refinement to the whole. Beyond its decorative character, the sideboard offers significant storage capacity thanks to its three internal compartments with shelves and its large upper drawer. A very beautiful character piece, ideal as a dining room sideboard, storage unit in a living room, or entrance furniture. The piece has been intentionally preserved in its vintage state to maintain its patina and authenticity. Very good overall condition for its age.
