Aubusson wool tapestry of the nineteenth century measuring 195x114cm. It is in good condition but a little washed out. It bears an old label with a price in euro. Aubusson is well known for its tapestry and carpets, famous throughout the world since the fourteenth century. Its origins were born with the arrival of the weavers of flanders, who took refuge in aubusson around 1580.
