Great 18th century Italian painting, Angels in the Clouds

Cod 0999. Wonderful italian painting from the first half of the 18th century. Oil on canvas artwork with a delightful composition depicting an adult angel and a cherub immersed in a soft celestial cloud. Painting of notable pictorial quality characterized by soft colors, enveloping drapes and a bright and vibrant pictorial layer. 20th century frame in carved and gilded wood, with some loss of gilding (see photo). Painting already restored with relining, replacement of the frame and re-coloring in small spots. Overall in good state of conservation, with some signs of aging. Interior size h 146 X w 105 cm.
