Herbarium coffee table by Roger Capron 1960

Coffee table by Roger Capron, circa 1960. This coffee table model Herbier was designed in the 1960s by the famous French ceramist Roger Capron. It consists of four wooden legs supporting an oval top encircled by wood, made up of an alternation of brown stoneware tiles with inlaid foliage patterns and glazed ceramic tiles in brown tones. Signed Roger Capron in black on one tile. In very good overall condition, with some wear to the wood and a missing grey joint on a few tiles (but they hold perfectly well).
