Sold without lampshade. Large vintage lamp in pyritised glazed ceramic, circa 1970s-1980s, in the style of the high-end productions of the Le Dauphin house. It features an elegant baluster silhouette resting on a square base. Stunning deep brown glaze nuanced with metallic black pyrites and enhanced with fine golden trim. The richness of its glazing, particularly careful craftsmanship, and beautiful size make it a character piece, ideal for a contemporary, Seventies, or Hollywood Regency interior. Approximately 18 cm in diameter at its widest point, 35 cm high for the base alone, and 43 cm high with the socket. In very good overall condition, perfect working order, with only slight wear to the gilding on the base of the plastic socket, discreet once the lampshade is installed. Approximately 1.8 kg.
