White side table "B9 A" by Marcel Breuer / Thonet

Designed in 1927 - 1928 by Marcel Breuer for Thonet in Germany, the B9 A side table is a milestone of Bauhaus design. Its cantilevered shape and compact proportions give it an architectural and lightweight presence. This example features a white lacquered top and a chrome tubular steel base. The side table also pairs perfectly as a small children's table when combined with the Thonet S43 children's chair. There are slight signs of wear on the edge of the table, including a small chip in the lacquer and fine age-related hairline cracks. Overall in good condition.
