Vintage coat rack on feet by Baumann, circa 60s

Vintage, mid-century floor-standing coat rack with twelve hooks from the 1960s. The piece is made of beech, with twelve bentwood hooks: six larger ones on the upper tier and six smaller ones on the lower tier. It stands on four bentwood legs (see photos). Manufactured by Baumann in the 1960s, this model is iconic, a classic and referenced under the "serial number 198". The upper part, swiveling and detachable (see photos.) were typically found in bistros, at that time. The piece is in excellent, near mint, original, vintage condition, with extremely light signs and marks of previous use on the frame, hooks and legs (see photos.) It is solid, stable and has only been gently cleaned compared to the original patina of time. Maker's mark present. A tiny difference at the end of one leg that disappears once the coats are hung, as the legs are made of bent wood. Note: To be taken into account, if you choose the parcel option (rarely offered) versus a carrier, the piece will be disassembled and I will provide you with reassembly instructions (super simple, 24 screws).
