Beni Ouarain rug, 300 x 80 cm - R311

A beautifully understated Beni Ouarain runner, handwoven by Amazigh artisans using traditional Berber techniques passed down through generations. Its long, narrow composition combines a base of soft natural ivory wool with delicate and irregular black and charcoal geometric lines. Rather than following a perfectly symmetrical pattern, the design has the spontaneous character typical of authentic Berber weaving: diamonds, interwoven lines, and abstract shapes appear organically throughout the rug. The thick, tactile wool pile gives this runner warmth and softness while preserving the authentic handmade character of a traditional Beni Ouarain. Each rug is entirely handcrafted on a traditional Berber loom, hand-knotted by Amazigh artisans, made from 100% natural local sheep wool, created using traditional knotting techniques, woven individually — never mass-produced, and naturally unique, with subtle variations in its geometry and pile. Colour palette: a natural ivory base / warm cream white with fine black and charcoal accents. The wool is intentionally not an artificial optical white, preserving the beautiful natural tonal variations of sheep wool. Its neutral palette makes it particularly versatile for minimalist, Scandinavian, Japandi, contemporary, Mediterranean, and organic-modern interiors. At only 80 cm wide, it works beautifully in a hallway or entrance, but also along a bed, through a dressing room, or in a long, narrow passage where a standard-sized rug would be too wide. Freshly handcrafted in our own artisan cooperative in Morocco. Small irregularities in the lines, knots, and pile are natural characteristics of authentic handwoven Berber rugs and make each piece unique.
