Scandinavian industrial chair manufactured by AB Odelberg & Olson, a company founded in Stockholm in 1884 by Anders Olson and John Odelberg. Swedish design attributed to Elias Svedberg in 1948 who is known for his furniture distributed in particular by the famous brand NK (Nordiska Kompaniet). This industrial chair in birch plywood and steel was also published by Knoll and is now exhibited at the MOMA in New York. This copy comes from an old textile factory in western Sweden. The set is in good condition and has a very beautiful patina. This is one of the rare copies mounted on casters that are functional and in good condition. One caster has been replaced by another more recent caster model of the same size but in white, this is part of the history of the chair but it can be painted black or easily replaced. The chair swivels 360 degrees, the seat is adjustable in height and the backrest is adjustable in height and tilt. The chair has been cleaned and maintained in our workshop in Sweden, taking care to preserve its unique patina, and is perfectly usable and ready to join its new owner. Regular deliveries to Paris from our store in Sweden. Home deliveries by specialized carrier throughout Europe, price on request.
