Dining table by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International, 1956

This table was created by finnish-born american designer eero saarinen for the international publisher knoll. In 1947, knoll called on eero saarinen, the beginning of a long collaboration between the architect and designer and the brand. The primary objective of this one was to replace the 4 legs of a classic table by a sleek and functional base of organic shape. This model will quickly become an icon in the design world. Base in cast aluminum lacquered white. White laminate top. 2 labels are present below the tray. Stamp "knoll international" under the base.
