Eames Herman Miller DSW side chairs in light greige / elephant grey / seafoam green / black

Set of 4 DSW side chairs designed by Charles Eames and made by Herman Miller in the late 50s/early 60s.  Colours (left to right in first image) are light greige, seafoam green, elephant hide grey and black.  Original fibreglass shells mounted on shockmounts with walnut dowel bases. The contemporary version of this chair (manufactured by Vitra) is made of polypropylene, which in our opinion, is not a patch on these original fibreglass models, which age beautifully. These can also be supplied  on oak dowel bases or maple bases, if you would prefer or metal Eiffels bases. In very good overall condition, with just a couple of very small scuffs here and there to the edges of the shells, in keeping with their age, but nothing noticeable. A stunning set of chairs - a totally classic, very collectable set. The seats and bases will be dismantled for safer shipping but can be bought fully assembled if so desired.  Please message us in this case and we will let you have a shipping quote.
