Set 4 flat plates Choisy le Roi XIXth Terre de Fer Boulenger model Bordeaux

Set of 4 plates old nineteenth century, between 1878 and 1892, with blue floral decoration on white background. Signature on the back in a button with the words: terre de fer - hte boulenger & cie - choisy le roi - faïences d'art - ceramic coatings - sanitary articles - bordeaux. Intaglio punch m11.  Historical landmarks: active pottery from 1804 to 1936. Signature "hte boulenger & cie" for hippolyte boulenger & cie from 1878 to 1892. in 1889, hippolyte boulenger obtained 2/3 of the metropolitan market for ceramic wall coverings. The earthenware factory is also known by some only for these bevelled stoneware tiles of 7.5 cm by 15 cm in white enamel running through the corridors of the paris metro.
