Very rare 'Angelo Necessario' Wall Unit, designed by the design duo Paolo Palucco & Mireille Rivier Italy 1989. The duo is known for their particularly brutal and radical furniture. Their creations are driven by a unique vision of furniture, blending elements of sculptural artwork with irrational objects. This is the suspended version, which is even more rare. It is made of black lacquered steel with wooden shelves in different depths. Only 2 screws ensure mounting on the wall. It is inspired by Rainer Maria Rilke's Duino Elegies, which depict the death of an angel on a cross with its stylized, open wings. Ingenious design with attention to detail and very well crafted. The unit is in excellent condition. Just a tiny tear in the veneer on one shelf, as visible in the last picture. Futhermore perfect.
