Set of 4 large Louis XV style wall lights from Lucien GAU, Paris - bronze

Set of 4 large Louis XV style sconces, by the famous French bronzier: Lucien GAU. Manufacturer of the Faubourg Saint Antoine, in Paris. Manufactured in the second half of the 20th century. Manufactured in bronze. Original gilding and patina, very good condition; note, on one sconces, oxidation spots (see the penultimate photo). Decorated with acanthus leaves and scrolls. The cups are decorated with acanthus leaves on both sides. They are electrified and tested (for E14 bulb). Cardboard candles, some missing parts. They are stamped on the back: LG, for Lucien Gau (see last photo). Careful packaging provided by Colissimo Registered to your home.
