Antique Art Nouveau Palace Cupboard, 1890s

We present you this massive, high walnut cupboard, circa 1890s. It is composed of a two-leaf base with drawers and a high add-on unit that includes multiple glazed cabinets. The piece is topped with a straight and slightly advanced cornice. The door panels feature carved patterns, repeated in the upper section. The glass in the add-on unit is crystal and chamfered. The cupboard is complemented with brass escutcheons and decorative hinges, and it has been restored and refinished in shellac.
