Danish mid century teak daybed in black leather, 1960s

This Danish mid-century modern daybed was crafted during the 1960s. Due to the used materials and the form, the furniture is reminiscent of Hans Wegner's designs from the same era.  Overall dimensions are H: 57 / W: 71 / D: 192 cm. This piece features an original teak frame paired with a new quilted mattress upholstered in natural black leather. The addition of a decorative bolster enhances its elegance and complements the overall design beautifully. A traditionally crafted quilted mattress in black leather with new foam inside will add coziness and charm to contemporary interiors often filled with synthetic materials. A nicely profiled wooden frame with gently rounded corners not only keeps the mattress stable but also perfectly harmonizes with the upholstery, creating a timeless design.
