Two original chromolithographies from an illustrated entomology book, j. Rothscild and a. Depuiset in 1876/78. Rare work, which collects data on caterpillars/butterflies (organization, manners, hunting, collections, classification, iconography and natural history of butterflies of europe) A few freckles more present on the edges of the boards. A small tear on the top of a board. An eternal, if not fragrant, spring bouquet; a real breath of oxygen. Ref 742/20.
