A steel lamp post, a chain frozen in time, a sculptural silhouette… here is a piece that asserts its character! This brutalist lamp post, with its raw and sincere design, has regained its splendour after a meticulous cleaning that revealed its original patina. It has been newly electrified and topped with a black, transparent lampshade that subtly diffuses light while maintaining the strength of its metal base. 🔎 By the way, what is brutalist style? Born in the 1950s, brutalism is an architectural movement that highlights raw materials and unadorned construction. Concrete, steel, solid wood… here, there are no superfluous ornaments: the essential takes precedence. In decor, this translates to robust shapes, industrial materials, and a deliberately stripped-back aesthetic that allows the material to speak for itself. 🏡 How to integrate it into your interior 👉 In an industrial loft, it will naturally find its place alongside metal, aged leather, and raw wood furniture. 👉 In contrast to a more classic interior, it will bring a sculptural and graphic touch. 👉 In a minimalist space, it will become a centrepiece, playing with the shadows and reflections of its lampshade. 👉 It can also enhance a bohemian decor, placed next to a linen armchair and a Berber rug, playing on the alliance of the raw and the soft. A lamp post that does not go unnoticed, balancing nuances of strength and elegance. Net weight: 4 kg. Dimensions: base height 153 cm x 27 cm / lampshade 34 cm x height 19 cm. Black fabric cord of 2 m from the base, new E27 bulb included, second-hand lampshade. Delivery possible via carrier: please contact me. Free collection at the workshop.
