"Lady's Secretary or Love Letter" This small lady's secretary, also called a love letter writing desk, was used for writing occasional correspondence. Inlaid with burr and light wood marquetry, it opens with a drop-front revealing an interior with two serpentine drawers, a drawer in the front, and four cabriole legs joined by a stretcher forming the top.
