1950s Sideboard, Oldenburger Möbelwerkstätten

The design of this sideboard from the Idee Möbel program by Erich Stratmann for the Oldenburg furniture workshops marks a milestone in 1950s furniture design. The dynamic combination of sliding door and horizontally structured drawers, as well as the round flush-mounted handles, testify to a well-thought-out craftsmanship and preserve the flowing front view. The body in ash veneer with new cream-white HPL coating on the top forms a calm frame. Carefully refurbished, the piece of furniture shines in a very good vintage condition.
