Large vintage lamp Le Dauphin model Verona in brass, 1970s

Sold without lampshade. Very beautiful large table lamp from the French house Le Dauphin, model "Vérone", Lotus Lamp, reference 1216, original label preserved under the base. Vintage from the 1970s. Important rectangular burgundy base with a glossy lacquer finish, resting on a square metal gold base and topped with a spectacular stylised artichoke motif in gilded brass. Beautifully decorative construction, blending geometric lines of the base and sculptural plant forms, typical of Le Dauphin's creations from this period. E27 socket, European plug, functional lamp. 46.5cm high with the socket, 40cm high without the socket. Very good overall condition. A few rare small stains and signs of use on the gilded metal. The burgundy finish plates have some slight cracks at certain edges, remaining discreet. The base has a slight play on its base and can turn slightly, lampshade locking ring split, without affecting its stability or use. Approximately 2 to 3kg.
