Adorable and very large indian cloth toy dating from the 1930s/1950s featuring an elephant. The naïve treatment of the subject, the reliefs of assembled fabrics, the eyes in cauris and the colors with natural pigments, very characteristic of india give the whole a touching character. The large dimensions of the subject make it possible to present it as a sculpture or a centerpiece of a decoration. Good condition. Height 41 cm. Length 50 cm.
