Elegant blown glass vase made by the French glassmaker Guy Untrauer, signed at the tip on the base and dated 1990. This piece features a particularly sculptural composition: a long emerald green glass horn rests on a twisted central part, which is extended by a wide circular base in clear glass. The decoration is enhanced with amber yellow glass cords applied hot, spirally wrapped around the neck and stem. The contrast between the deep green, the colourless glass, and the amber applications gives the whole a beautiful visual presence. The glasswork reveals numerous shades, movements, and small irregularities characteristic of handmade craftsmanship. The piece is signed "Untrauer" and dated "90" on the base. Guy Untrauer is part of the contemporary French glass movement and Studio Glass, with a particularly recognisable production around the years 1980-1990. Dimensions: Height: 27 cm Diameter of the neck: 6 cm Diameter of the base: 8.5 cm Condition: Generally good condition. There is a small缺失 on one of the decorative amber yellow glass cords, visible in the photographs. The main body of the vase is in good condition. A beautiful piece of contemporary French glassware, interesting for both an art glass collector and a contemporary interior.
