Pocket tray in caquelon by the Art and Ceramics workshop (AC) in La Valette du Var in the south of France, active from the 1950s to the 1970s, in the style of Vallauris. Melted and iridescent enamels in vibrant colours, with different types of glazes requiring various firing techniques and handling on the piece. The object is distinguished by its glossy black exterior, which contrasts intensely with a glazed interior featuring a speckled and variegated polychrome decoration (mixing bright shades of red, yellow, and brown/black). In very good condition. Signed on the base with the AC monogram. Length 13cm X height 5cm.
