The Tired Man Chair

An icon of Danish design reissued in the 2010s, The Tired Man armchair designed by Flemming Lassen, a key player in the functionalist movement alongside Arne Jacobsen, in 1935 for the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild Competition stands out for its welcoming and comfortable silhouette. The feet at the back are made of wood, the feet at the front are finished by two brass wheels that allow the chair to be moved. Exposed in the shop, the feet show some marks of wear. The blue and grey colours are the versions in which the chair was originally proposed by the designer.
