Coffee set consisting of two cups with saucers and a sugar bowl, in ceramic, decorated with a frieze with champlevé decoration by huguette bessone in vallauris. Huguette, whose training is not known, collaborated with her husband, marius bessone (1929-2001) in their studio opened in vallauris in 1954. Several techniques were experimented by these two ceramists, including that of champlevé, with abstract motifs. This service, which can be dated from the years 1960-1970, in perfect condition, is signed under the base, for the cups "h bessone, vallauris", for the saucers "h bessone, décor main, vallauris", for the sugar bowl "h bessone, décor main, vallauris". The cups measure: 7 cm high, 12 cm wide, 9 cm deep. The saucers measure: 2.5 cm in height and 16 cm in diameter. The sugar bowl measures: 7.5 cm in height and 8 cm in diameter.
