The straw marquetry sun pattern is certainly the most famous motif, dating back to the art deco period, as it captures light and each ray lights up independently creating unique reflections and depth. The trays are worked with a rounded edge to extend even more the suns on the sides, coming to die delicately. They are delicately placed on a gilded steel base to enhance the blue hues.
