A beautifully restored pair of Art Deco bedside tables, produced in Czechoslovakia in the late 1940s, at the tail end of the Art Deco period. Crafted in wood and finished in striking walnut veneer, the pieces showcase a rare and highly decorative root veneer pattern, adding depth and visual richness to their refined form. The cabinets have been carefully restored and presented in a sophisticated blond finish, contrasted by darker detailing that highlights the geometry and structure of the design. Each table features a single door with a discreet, integrated side handle, maintaining the clean and uninterrupted lines typical of late Art Deco furniture. The front is elegantly shaped in bentwood, creating soft, flowing curves that enhance the sculptural quality of the pieces.
