F.A Porsche Kandido Table Lamp Lucitalia

Postmodern 'kandido' table lamp, made by lucitalia in the 1980s. A design by ferdinand alexander porsche, grandson of the founder of porsche. The lamp has a triangular base of heavy cast metal. Three telescopic arms extend from the base, which support the lampshade. The arms can be extended, twisted and intertwined. A smart detail is the round on/off switch. This remains partially hidden in the base and has two positions to adjust the intensity of the lamp. There is a mercury switch in the base to turn off the lamp if it is knocked over. Thanks to the telescopic arms, the height of the lamp can be adjusted over a range between 35 and 90 centimetres. The lamp is in very good vintage condition.
