The Lampiatta suspension is an emblematic design of the design studio De Pas, D'Urbino & Lomazzi for Stilnovo (Italy). Vintage design, dating from 1971. The lamp is a round metal lampshade, inspired by the shape of the military helmet of the English army during the two world wars. It is made of white enamelled metal, associated with black ceiling awnings. The lamp is well marked, both with the original sticker and with an impression on the upper canopy of the ceiling. It uses an ordinary E27 bulb, 60W max and 110V or 220V. Also works great with a mirror bulb. About designers: Architect and design studio De Pas, D'Urbino & Lomazzi was founded by a trio of prominent Italian designers of the same name who are best known for their unconventional seat design including pop culture icons such as the inflatable Blow and the Joe Sofa kitsch. Designing in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s in Milan, the collective is known for its efforts to connect radical design to everyday life.
