Vintage Cutlery Set of 12 Table Knives in Blonde Horn by Leclercq Boulogne. • Superb set of 12 antique table knives signed by the Leclercq cutlery (Boulogne-sur-Mer), dating from the mid-20th century. • The handles are made of natural blonde horn, as evidenced by the beautiful honeycomb and radiant structure visible in the cross-section at the heel of the handle (authentic organic material, not resin). • Blades made of tapered stainless steel in "Parisian" shape. • Original period case with gold leaf marking "Leclercq Boulogne-sur-Mer". • Care advice: Clean the blades by hand only, do not soak or put in the dishwasher to preserve the natural horn. • The Leclercq house, located in Boulogne-sur-Mer, was one of the oldest specialists in quality tableware, silverware, and high-end gifts. The shop survived through the 20th century before closing its doors permanently in 2010. • The script and gold writing used on the red label inside the box ("Leclercq Coutellerie-Orfèvrerie BOULOGNE-S/-MER") precisely corresponds to the brand's visual identity during the Glorious Thirties (the post-war period).
