Very beautiful french abstract school, monogrammed bottom left sm for simone maufroy, lyonnaise painter of the second half of the 20th century and beginning of the 21st century, having exhibited at the salon du groupement des artistes beaujolais in ville franche sur saône then from 1952 to 1959, then at the lyon winter salon in 1965. Artist who took the path of abstraction with a certain success at the end of her career. This composition is proof of the accomplished technicality of this painter, mastering the technique of acrylic painting with a knife. This work, very inspired by abstract art, is dated november 2010. In good condition, it presents a light obscure nuance by the use of a black and brown background and pearly white patterns. Pretty vanishing line on the top left. Beautiful brightness of the entire composition. Good general condition, the painting has traveled a lot and shows a state of light use on the painting, see the photographs which are an integral part of the description.
