BACCARAT Set of 6 CRYSTAL wine glasses model 9157 size 9247 Year 1907 H15cm

This sublime series of six crystal red wine glasses comes from the baccarat crystal manufacture. This richly cut model dates from the 1900s: it is magnificently decorated with flowers all over the rim in the tradition of baccarat excellence. This decoration is present in the baccarat crystal factory catalog from 1907 on plate 87: shape 9157 and size 9247. It is a glass with a very harmonious shape and pleasant to hold in the palm of the hand. These glasses are decorated with flowers visible from the top of the rim, created by a central star surrounded by rounded petals cut with crossed bevels and unfurled palmettes. Of perfect transparency and high quality, the cut is rich and fine, made on the wheel. The foot is cut in a star - the leg is also cut. Baccarat only signed its production after 1936, before a small label was simply affixed. This model is not signed but referenced in the catalog. In very good condition, these glasses measure 15 cm in height and 6.5 cm in diameter at the rim. I note scratches from use, especially on the foot.
