Handmade Afghan Baluchi Rug

Dark red Afghan Baluchi (or Belutch) rug decorated with typical geometric patterns. Hand-spun and hand-knotted wool (100%). In good condition, clean, non-smoking house. Note a small repair on one of the edges (see photo). Priced accordingly. Dimensions: 1.05 m X 1.45 m. Weight: 3.5 kg. Baluchi rugs represent traditional nomadic craftsmanship. They take their name from the collective term for different tribes that live on the border of Iran and Afghanistan. Most use dark colors from the spectrums of red, blue, black and brown. These hand-woven oriental rugs are of superior quality.
