Hand embroidered linen tablecloth, 60's, 3.10m

A light linen canvas, very tight, cold and brittle, beautiful, embroidered with open needle lozenges deposited in quinconce on the border of a height of 30cm. The 190cm-long tray of this remarkable tablecloth is embroidered with the same lozenges arranged in zigzag on a row. The center of each lozenge slightly embossed, is up to day, very refined graphic element. Fantastic work, regular, of great rigor, geometric without being dry, as beautiful in the place as upside down, is both classic and midcentury, abstract, elegant and very modern. The color, from a grey to half shades of blue-green, requires a separate laundry. New old linen in perfect condition. The coloured reflections that might be noticed in the photos do not exist on the tablecloth. Rather large: 3.10cm x 1.55cm.
