Biscuit Porcelain Flower Vase Statue Volkstedt Art Nouveau Lady, c. 1900

Manufacturer: Älteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrik (Old Volkstedt Porcelain Factory), Thuringia, Germany. Period: Late 19th century / Early 20th century (Belle Époque / Art Nouveau, around 1900). Material: Matte white biscuit porcelain (unglazed). Design: Allegorical female figure with flowing garments and a shawl, integrated into an ornamental side vase shaped like a plant stem. Purely modernist style. Marks: Genuine historical stamp of the two crossed bieldos (horques) in cobalt blue under the cover at the lower base. 🔍 Condition (VERY IMPORTANT) General: The figurine is in good overall cosmetic condition. The modelling of the face, hands, feet, and folds of the clothing retains great definition without severe wear. It features the original factory technical ventilation holes at the back. Restoration: The curved arm of the side vase has undergone a clean break in the past and shows an old repair/gluing. The assembly is completely solid and structurally stable, although the joint line exhibits the typical yellowish patina of time and a minimal jump on the outer edge (see detailed photos). It is recommended to handle the piece by always holding it by the torso or the lower base.
