Beautiful large Renaissance-style lamp base from the 50s/60s designed on an 18th-century piece of furniture or architecture in carved wood with four faces on the corners, to which a turned wooden column has been added, electrified with a bayonet socket; the whole is in very good general condition (woodwork and patina of time: see photos); sold without lampshade.
